Open 100km ChallengeThis event is open to all riders Last year Floyd Landis (Tour de France winner 2007) rode the 100km Open. This year a top national and international field is expected to be in contention for the cash prizes.
The current record was set in 2008 by Peter Latham in a time of 2.20.47 All participants have electronic timing. Registration Desk opens at 8.00am
Race InformationBikeNZ National licence holders will assemble at the front of the 100km peloton ready to start at 10.00am. The start of the 100km Open is at 10.00am and proceeds in a counter clockwise route around the mountain. Non licence holders will start in the wave behind licence holders. Road rules must be observed at all times All riders are eligible for spot prizes. Cost of Entry$50 if paid online by 7th November with late fee of $10 |
